Visit Trenholm State Community College and meet the exciting instructors and students of the Computer Information Systems department! This year the STEM Badge Day will have two badge options for either Cybersecurity or Coding. All levels are eligible to sign up for the Cybersecruity track, while the Coding track is open for Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors. Find out more about the different badge tracks below. Every Girl Scout will receive a fun patch for attending!
A waiting lounge will be available for adults for the duration of
the program. This can be a drop off event if you choose to leave and
come back. Adults are invited to the welcome and closing ceremony of
the program.
Cybersecurity - All Levels
Investigate, solve, and prevent cybercrime! Earn all three badges in
the series as you become a defender of cyber security. Explore the
role technology plays in your life, learn what information is private,
and how to share information safely. Girl Scouts will leave feeling
comfortable and confident to use the world wide web!
Coding - Cadettes, Seniors, & Ambassadors
Welcome to
the world of computer coding! Earn all three badges in the series as
you become a developer and programmer. Learn how programmers write
code for computers and how they create video games and apps that can
help people. Girl Scouts will imagine and develop prototypes and
unlock the limitless capabilities of coding!
