Earn your GSSA Outdoor Essentials Certification so that you can take
your Troop on overnight camping adventures, lead them in a campfire
activity, or help them progress through the Outdoor Essentials Patch
Program. Once you arrive, you'll have the opportunity to practice and
demonstrate your own outdoor skills: fire safety, outdoor cooking,
knife safety, cleaning up, knots, and shelter-building will all be a
part of this training!
Pre-requisites: Adults must
complete the Overnight Certification Knowledge Check and have a
working knowledge of the material in the Outdoor Essentials Resource
Manual
After attending training, adults must complete the
Outdoor Essentials Knowledge Check in order to receive GSSA Outdoor
Essentials Certification.
