Girl Scouting is open to:
- girls aged 5-17 and adults over 18
- who make the Girl Scout Promise
- who accept the Girl Scout Law
- pay annual membership dues of $12 (financial assistance is available)
It's easy to join. You can join a troop/group of girls with a few adult leaders/advisors. Troops do activities together, learn new skills and earn recognition badges.
You can also register as an individual member to participate in Council events and earn recognitions.
Scouting isn't only for Girls. Adult members make a difference in girls' lives through their dues and their participation in troop and Council-wide events. Your membership is completely flexible around your schedule. If you would like to volunteer in addition to being a member, please review our volunteer opportunities page. |
