About Gold Awards

By earning the Girl Scout Gold Award you will be joining the ranks of generations of young women who have made a difference both locally and globally.

The Gold Award represents the highest achievement in Girl Scouts and therefore is a commitment you make and complete as an individual.

Gold Award Recipients Stories

It's not easy earning your Gold Award, but every Gold Award recipient has told us that all the effort is worth it!

After a Girl Scout Ambassador has earned her Gold Award in our council, we ask her to share her Take Action Project experience. In this way, Girl Scouts who are considering "going for the gold" will get an idea of what its like from someone who has recently and successfully gone through the process.

Below are links to interviews with recent Gold Award recipients. Their stories are archived on our Girl Blog.
